Job summary

Grande Prairie Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, part of AutoCanada, is hiring a Sales Associate to guide customers through vehicle selection online, over the phone and in-person. You will negotiate terms and ensure that payment options fit their lifestyles, budgets, and expectations.

Our ideal candidate has 3+ years in customer-facing roles, a hunter mentality, and a proven track record of developing relationships that drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older to meet insurance requirements.
• CA-issued Driver’s License and valid Driver’s Abstract required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background and MVR check.
• Open availability to work days, evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• 3+ years in a customer-facing role; retail, sales, marketing or customer service preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and perform the physical duties of the role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional emails and messages.
• Competitive spirit with drive to meet monthly sales objectives.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers entering the showroom floor and maintain a professional environment.
• Answer questions about new/used cars, performance, financing and processes.
• Build rapport with customers to aid in vehicle selection and payment terms.
• Maintain an up-to-date customer database to drive sales both now and in the future.
• Present vehicles through test drives and dealership walkthroughs to demonstrate value.
• Use negotiation skills to complete sales following dealership standards and policies.
• Follow up with clients to generate repeat and referral business and maintain high satisfaction.
• Stay current on dealer group and manufacturer training and other duties as assigned.
