Job summary

Jacob Bros Construction in Victoria, BC is hiring Dump Truck Drivers to support projects in the region. Responsibilities include operating tandem dump trucks and pony trailers, performing safety checks, and maintaining trip logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tandem dump trucks and pony trailers to deliver materials and meet targets.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Maintain log books for trips.
• Other labour duties as assigned.

• Safe and efficientoperation oftandem dump truck andtrucks with pony trailers to deliver materials including dirt, sand and gravel and meet production targets
• Performs daily safety and maintenance checks
• Maintains Log book for each trip
• Other labour duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experiencedriving commercial vehicles and pulling pony and transfer in the lower mainland
• Tri-Axle experience is amandatory requirement
• Must be familiar with all local major truck routes, scales and traffic laws
• Unrestricted Class 1 license is mandatory
• Clean drivers abstract is required
• Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada
