Job summary

Chew Excavating, a member of the Ralmax Group of Companies, is seeking a Dump Truck Driver in Victoria, BC to deliver to various construction job sites. The role supports both full-time and part-time schedules with weekend availability required periodically.

You should have 3+ years of driving experience and a valid Class 1 or 3 license; crane/lowbed experience is a plus. Wage rate ranges from $30.24 to $34.73 per hour plus 11.5% vacation pay and a $2.95/hour pension contribution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's Licence required.
• Geographical knowledge of the Greater Victoria area is a benefit.
• Experience pulling trailers preferred.
• Experience operating lowbed is an asset.
• Crane operation certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to industrial, commercial, and residential construction sites.
• Safely maneuver truck in congested areas.
• Occasional weekend shifts may be required.
• Maintain vehicle and comply with safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.

Reporting to: Operations Manager/Dispatch

Wage Rate: $30.24 to $34.73 plus 11.5% vacation pay and $2.95/hour pension contribution

Hours of Work: Up to 40 hours per week. Weekend Availability Required Periodically

Experience pulling a Tridem Pup, Quad trailer, Operating a Crane Truck or Low Bed desired.
