Job summary

Evertz Microsystems in Markham, Ontario is seeking DSP engineers to design and implement DSP algorithms on CPU, GPU, and FPGA platforms. You will architect solutions, test, debug, and refine code for real-time DSP applications including video and audio processing, SDR, and modem designs.

The role requires a strong DSP background, experience with real-time systems on heterogeneous hardware, and proficiency in VHDL, Python, Matlab, C/C++, CUDA, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Background in digital signal processing (DSP).
• Experience with real-time systems design on FPGA, CPU and GPU based platforms.
• Working experience related to DSP applications such as video and audio processing, modem design and software defined radio (SDR).
• Work experience related to machine learning (ML) inference model design and implementation.
• Knowledge of video/audio/RF signal processing and satellite signal communications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VHDL, Python, Matlab, C, C++, and CUDA.
• Proficiency in linux operating system.
• Good communication skills in verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions for digital signal processing applications, implementing DSP algorithms, design and maintain codes running on FPGA and other heterogeneous platforms, test, debug and refine solutions.
