Job summary

Evertz in Markham, Ontario, is seeking DSP engineers to design and implement DSP algorithms on FPGA, CPU and GPU across heterogeneous platforms.

You will architect DSP solutions, implement algorithms, test and refine code, and collaborate with teams across hardware and software domains. Required: DSP background, real-time systems on FPGA/CPU/GPU, ML inference for DSP, and proficiency in VHDL, Python, MATLAB, C/C++, CUDA, and Linux.

Qualifications

• Background in digital signal processing (DSP).
• Experience with real-time DSP on FPGA, CPU, and GPU-based platforms.
• Working experience related to DSP applications such as video and audio processing, modem design, and software-defined radio (SDR)
• Work experience related to machine learning (ML) inference model design and implementation
• Knowledge of video/audio/RF signal processing and satellite signal communications
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VHDL, Python, MATLAB, C, C++, and CUDA
• Proficiency in Linux operating system
• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required for this role.
• Good communication skills in verbal and written English

We are looking for DSP engineers responsible for working on DSP algorithm design and implementation on heterogeneous platforms, including CPU, GPU, and FPGA.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours.

Vacancy: This is an existing position.

Salary Range: $80,000 CAD - $110,000 CAD, based on experience.
