Job summary

FundyPros is hiring a Drywall Installer to join our Atlantic Canada team in Dieppe. You will measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for walls and ceilings, and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs. You’ll also install corner beads and suspended ceiling grids to create acoustical and coffered ceilings.

The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork, with an emphasis on learning and professional development within a growing company.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience with Drywall Installation and Steel-Stud Framing.
• The ability to work with a plan that is supported plan with facts and data
• High degree of respect, professionalism, safety consciousness, and integrity
• Strong attention to quality and detail skills
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Red Seal is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
