Job summary

FundyPros is seeking a skilled construction professional for full-time, on-the-road work involving steel-stud framing and drywall installation. You’ll erect frames, install interior/exterior components, and ensure safe site operations with proper PPE and safety practices.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, a strong attention to quality, and a willingness to learn. Red Seal is preferred but not mandatory, and compensation is experience-based with benefits provided.

• Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring using nails, screws, clips or wire ties.
• Ensure safe loading, staging and cleaning of the site.
• Adhere to health and safety policies for a safe environment.
• Wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toe boots, masks.
• Follow fall arrest and other safety procedures.
• Report near misses or accidents to foreman.

• Erect metal stud framework and install door and window frames
• Install interior/exterior heavy and light gauge framing for all applications, using hand and power tools
• Attach metal lath and beads; attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring using nails, screws, clips or wire ties
• Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring using nails, screws, clips or wire ties
• Ensure safe loading, staging and cleaning of the site
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and practices to ensure a safe working environment for self and others
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hat, steel toe boots, masks and other protective gear
• Follow fall arrest practices and other construction safety procedures
• Report near misses, potential safety threats or accidents immediately to foreman
