Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a drywall installer to perform interior finishing at multiple on-site locations in Canada. You will measure, cut and install drywall, tape joints, and install ceiling grids as part of a team that helps shape interior spaces.

Experience with drywall finishing and the ability to work under tight deadlines is required, along with a willingness to work at physical locations and in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
