Job summary

Fastfrate Group in Cambridge, Ontario, is hiring a Safety & Yard Trainer. The role conducts pre-hire and post-accident evaluations, delivers classroom and on-road driver training, and coaches drivers to improve skills and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma required.
• AZ Driver’s License and air brake training required.
• 2-3 years driving experience in transportation preferred.
• Defensive driving training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completing pre-hire road evaluations.
• Completing post-accident road evaluations.
• Facilitating in-cab on road training.
• Facilitating in-yard training.
• Leading driver orientation and defensive driving classroom training.
• Recruiting drivers at job fairs and truck schools.
• Providing coaching to drivers and daily performance feedback.
• Completing daily driver performance reports.
