Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Moncton, NB is seeking a Driver Trainer to onboard and develop drivers, ensure safety compliance, and support operational training across multiple programs.

This role emphasizes ELD guidance, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with safety initiatives. Monday–Friday schedule with potential extra hours; benefits include health and dental coverage and RRSP matching up to 4%.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 licence with air brake endorsement.
• Experience evaluating, educating, coaching, and supporting professional drivers.
• Strong knowledge of federal and provincial transportation regulations.
• Experience using ELD and onboard technology solutions.
• Strong time management, organization, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new driver orientation and training to ensure safe, compliant onboarding.
• Support driver training programs and certification requirements, including forklift, TDG, WHMIS, in-cab training, and other operational training needs.
• Provide ELD support and guidance to drivers and operations teams.
• Support safety initiatives, including Job Safety Observations, Dock Audits, and compliance activities.
• Facilitate safety meetings, communications, and engagement events to promote a strong safety culture.
• Participate as a member of the incident response call-out team.
• Support occupational health and safety activities and related initiatives.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

Location: Moncton, NB

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm | Available to work outside standard hours as required

Salary: $27 - $30 per hour
