Air Liquide Canada is seeking a delivery driver to provide safe, efficient pickup and delivery of cylinder gases and welding supplies in Fort St. John, BC. This role also includes yard and warehouse work to support operations and customer service.

Qualifikationen

• Requires valid Class 3 license with air brakes.
• Minimum 2 years in the delivery industry.
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with team members and ensures proper loading per regulations.
• Completes warehouse and yard work as needed.
• Plans daily routes by dispatch items and drives to required sites.

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC's quality and safety objectives. There is also some yard and warehouse work as part of this role.

Pay range - $26.07 - $32.58 / hourly rate + Cost of living allowance + Northern Living Allowance

Key responsibilities

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
• Complete warehouse and yard work as required.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.
• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly
• Valid class 3 license with air Brakes with a clean driver's abstract
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
