Job summary

Air Liquide Canada, a leader in gases and industrial solutions, seeks a delivery professional to provide safe, efficient service for cylinder gases and welding supplies. You will pick up empties, load/unload trucks, and follow dispatched routes while upholding quality and safety objectives.

The role requires a valid Class 3 license with air brakes, a clean driving record, and at least two years of delivery experience.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 3 license with air brakes and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum 2 years of delivery experience in the industry.
• Preferred TDG certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks, ensuring items are secured and compliant with regulations.
• Plan daily routes based on dispatches, deliver to required sites, and return with empties.
• Maintain vehicle appearance and perform basic maintenance as needed.

The main objective and purpose of this position consist in providing safe, efficient, prompt, and courteous pick-up and delivery service for gases, while promoting ALC's quality and safety objectives.

• Provides prompt and courteous delivery of cylinder gases and/or welding supplies.
• Picks up empty cylinders as required.
• Loads and unloads trucks with other team members and ensures trucks are loaded efficiently and in accordance with regulations.
• Pick your own load of cylinders, plan out your day based on items dispatched for you, drive to required sites, pick up empties then offload trucks upon return.
• Ensures that maintenance and general appearance of the truck and all equipment used in the performance of his/her duties are properly maintained.
• Valid class 3 license with air Brakes with a clean driver's abstract
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the delivery industry
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification
