Job summary

Alberta Health Services in Lac La Biche is seeking a Driver I to transport a range of goods including mail, medical supplies, equipment, food and linen between facilities. You will work independently to follow scheduled routes and ad hoc requests, while observing safety standards.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, logging mileage, keeping the vehicle clean, reporting defects, and complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence.
• Completion of valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate.

• Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections and report defects.

Working independently, you must adhere to scheduled routes, as well as ad hoc requests, in a safe and courteous manner.You will be expected to perform a series of routine duties such as logging mileage, cleaning vehicles, performing pre- and post-vehicle inspections, and reporting defects and malfunctions to management.
