Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Driver on a temporary, six-month basis in Winnipeg, MB, with an hourly rate of 26–35 CAD depending on experience. The role involves local propane deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, and vehicle maintenance, with on-site training and the possibility of extension.

You will join a team of drivers and service technicians, reporting to the Supervisor, Propane Distribution.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional driving experience.
• Class 3A or Class 1A license.
• Familiar with computers and electronic log systems.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and handle hoses and equipment.

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Driver on a temporary, 6-month basis in Winnipeg, MB offering $26 - $35 an hour, depending on experience.

Are you looking for employment in the fall? Our propane team is hiring a Class 3A driver on a 6-month term starting in September to help through the busy season. We offer all the required training and work gear, the possibility of extension, and a work area that will have you home every night.

What You’ll Do

• Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries locally.
• Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system.
• Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted.
• Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.

The Team:

You will work on a team of drivers and service technicians and will report to the Supervisor, Propane Distribution on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance.

The Customers:

You will deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care.

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in hauling and deliveries and:

• Have 1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Have a Class 3A or Class 1A license.
• Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
• Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hoses and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
