Job summary

Stittco Energy in Manitoba is seeking a Driver I to safely and timely deliver propane to customers. You will load, unload, and deliver, while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and using onboard computers to track inventory and print delivery tickets.

The role emphasizes safety, regular vehicle inspections, and collaboration with the Dispatcher for routing. A Class 3 license and lifting ability are required; relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • High School education.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Class 3 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Ability to repetitively lift 60 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Clear criminal record.
  • Fluid Hauling is an asset.
  • Knowledge and ability to use computers, specifically on-board truck computers.
  • Ability to maintain and conduct the highest standard of safety at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
  • Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
  • Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
  • Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
  • Other duties as assigned

ThePropane Driveris responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance

This role is based out of Flin Flon, MB and relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.

Salary:

$26 - $32 hourly (based on skills, experience, qualifications, and geography).
