Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited is hiring a Class 3A Propane Driver for a temporary 3-6 month assignment in Crossfield, AB, with a wage of $26.31 - $35.50 per hour, depending on experience. Home every night with stable hours, benefits, pension, paid time off, training and gear provided.

You will deliver propane to agricultural, commercial and domestic customers, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain vehicles, and uphold safety standards and regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional driving experience.
• Class 3A or Class 1A license.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Familiar with computers/electronic log systems.
• Physically capable of demanding work (50 lbs).
• Willing to undergo pre-employment substance tests.

Responsibilities

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Class 3A Propane Driver on a temporary 3-6-month basis in Crossfield, AB offering $26.31 - $35.50 per hour, depending on experience. This opportunity may lead to an extension or permanent employment.

What You’ll Do

• Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries to various local customers.
• Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system.
• Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted.
• Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.

The Team: You will work with other drivers and service technicians and will report to the Propane Operations Supervisor. The team strives to cultivate a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance.

The Customers: You will deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care.

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in hauling and deliveries and:

• Have 1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Have a Class 3A or Class 1A license.
• Are a self-starter who works well independently with strong organizational skills and time management.
• Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
• Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
• Are comfortable undergoing a pre-employment alcohol and substance test to qualify for safety-sensitive work.
