Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Propane Drivers on a temporary, 6-month basis in Swift Current, SK, starting mid-September to support the busy season.

You’ll deliver propane locally, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain safety and equipment, with training provided and opportunities for extension; you’ll be home every night. Valid Class 3A or 1A license required; 1+ years driving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional driving experience or equivalent education considered.
• Class 3A or Class 1A license and a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
• Capable of physically demanding work and lifting ~50 lbs.

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Propane Drivers on a temporary, 6-month basis in Swift Current, SK.

Are you looking for employment in the fall? Our propane team is hiring Class 3A drivers on a 6-month term starting in mid-September to help through the busy season. We offer all the required training and work gear, the possibility of extension, and a work area that will have you home every night.

What You’ll Do

• Present a positive image in customer service while making propane deliveries locally.
• Conduct daily pre-and post-trip inspections, track hours, and report issues using an electronic log system.
• Maintain company vehicles, ensuring preventative maintenance is carried out and minor repairs are conducted.
• Perform work with a high standard of safety in all operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.

Who You’ll Work With

The Team: You will work on a team of drivers and service technicians and will report to the Supervisor, Propane Distribution on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance.

The Customers: You will deliver propane to customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care.

Who You Are

You are looking for a career in hauling and deliveries and:

• Have 1+ years of professional driving experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• Have a Class 3A or Class 1A license and a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
• Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
• Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hoses and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.

This opportunity is a Driver Sales Person – no ticket role within the RWDS Union offering $29.01–$34.50 per hour.
