Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience hauling and backing up bumper tow or gooseneck trailers.
  • Experience operating a forklift.
  • Previous delivery driver or similar role preferred.
  • Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.

Responsibilities

  • Wrap orders on pallets and load onto the trailer using a forklift or by hand while ensuring correct item counts and order accuracy.
  • Secure the load on the truck and/or trailer.
  • Deliver packages to customers on time and provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery process.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports by capturing required delivery details and signatures.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance standards are met. Complete preventative maintenance as required.
  • Communicate proactively with the production team regarding order statuses and any potential delivery issues.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
