Job summary

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for exterior building supply, seeks a reliable Driver to safely load, move and deliver product. You will perform pre-trip inspections, keep equipment and facilities clean, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

Prior trucking experience and strong customer service are valued. The role requires valid CDLs (Class 1) with clean abstracts; AZ may be needed depending on region.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Class 1 CDL and provide current driving abstract.
• AZ license held with clean driving record preferred for East.
• Ability to perform load securement and pre-trip inspection checks.
• Fall protection and First Aid training are assets.
• Previous forklift/Moffett training is advantageous.
• Experience in loading, moving, and delivering freight safely.
• Strong customer service skills and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, move and deliver roofing products to customers.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and maintenance checklists.
• Keep store, yard, and trucks clean and organized.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations and policies.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely loading, moving and delivering product
• Performing pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, cleaning and lubricating the crane
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks
• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 1 CDL and ability to provide current drivers abstract (West)
• Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ license and clean driving abstract (East)
• Load securement training (can be provided)
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
• First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada

Salary range:$ 30-32 per hour
