Job summary

Uni-Select Inc. in Vancouver, BC seeks a driver for a 6-month contract to prepare and deliver orders for our auto parts network. You will verify invoices, assist with order picking, and ensure proper delivery sign-offs, while maintaining vehicle readiness and safety.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate paperwork, and collaboration with Dispatchers and Store Managers. No experience is required, but a valid driver’s license and reliable driving record are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact
• Assist with picking parts for orders and examine the condition of the merchandise
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Record deliveries and pickups with proper paperwork and sign-offs
• Comply with delivery policies and standards; report complaints to Dispatcher/Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels and tire condition; ensure cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual inventory
• Assist with customer service activities and keep the store orderly including stocking shelves

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

Prepare and complete orders for delivery, verify invoices to ensure that order is exact, possibly assist with picking parts for orders Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery, examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery Organize daily pick-up of customer cores, returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency Accurately record all deliveries and pickups, ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores, returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle, the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
