About The Role

This is an On-site/Casual position responsible for administrative functions such as directing calls, tracking messages, completing and filing paperwork, and uploading files to a centralized database.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the requirements of Ontario Regulation 248/03.
  • Monitoring the Dashboard in GEL for client threshold breaches.
  • Providing verbal and written notifications to regulatory bodies as required.
  • Uploading parameters daily to DWIS and LRMA.
  • Assisting Project Managers.
  • Reporting drinking water policy violations to the Drinking Water Program Manager.
  • Following established procedures and maintaining organized records.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and ALS policies.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

About You

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, reading).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong keyboarding and data entry skills with minimal errors.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a lab environment is an asset.

Physical Demands

  • Manual dexterity for data entry.
  • Reaching and extending hands or arms.
  • Sitting at a desk for office work.
  • Exposure to unpleasant odours.
  • Availability for day, afternoon, and weekend shifts, as ALS operates 24/7.
