Job summary

Multi-Power Products Ltd., based in Kelowna, British Columbia, seeks a skilled Assembly Technician to join a leading Canadian manufacturer of exploratory drilling equipment. You will assemble complex machinery, read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics, and diagnose issues to ensure equipment meets specifications.

The role offers full-time employment with a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Post-secondary training or mechanical/hydraulic background required.
5+ years related experience is a plus.
Drilling experience is an asset.
Hydraulic/electrical experience is an asset.
Good communication skills.
Minimum Class 5 driver’s license.
Personal tools required.

Responsibilities

Assemble drilling equipment including control panels, engines, and power units.
Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics/shop drawings.
Troubleshoot and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment.
Adjust equipment and replace bad parts using hand and power tools.
Test new equipment to ensure performance and compliance with specifications.
Start up and testing of equipment.
