About the Role

Maple Leaf Drilling is always looking for hard-working, dependable individuals to join our team as Driller’s Assistants. This is a physically active, hands-on position ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors, travelling for work, and supporting field operations. What You’ll Do

• Assist drillers at job sites across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario
• Load and unload heavy tools and materials
• Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment and vehicles
• Perform shop tasks such as preventative maintenance, tool organization, and general yard upkeep
• Travel long distances (often hauling trailers), with some overnight stays and weekend work required

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Class 3 with Air Brakes preferred)
• Must have your own vehicle – no public transit available
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable with long hours, physical labour, and overnight travel
• Experience in drilling, equipment operation, or mechanics is an asset
• First Aid, WHMIS, and other safety certifications are a plus
• Must pass drug testing (pre-access and post-incident), Driver’s Abstract, and Criminal Record Check
• Strong work ethic – punctual, reliable, and a team player
