Job summary

Hecla is seeking Surface Diamond Drillers and Driller Assistants for its Keno Hill surface exploration program in Yukon Territory. These full-time, camp-based, FIFO positions offer the opportunity to work on one of the world’s highest-grade silver districts.

Ideal candidates are experienced, safety-conscious, and ready for rotational work in remote locations with 12-hour shifts in a camp setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of surface diamond drilling experience (HQ/NQ/BQ is a strong asset).
• Willing to travel to remote site and work in camp environments.
• Safety-conscious with environmental compliance focus.
• Valid driver’s license and physical fitness for heavy tasks.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts in a rotating day/night schedule.
• Pass a drug/alcohol screen and fit-for-duty test; certifications are assets.

Perks & Benefits

• Wages from $28.80 to $54.00 per hour, depending on position and experience
• Production (meter) bonus, with extra bonuses for cementing, wedging, directional and deep-hole work
• Fly-in fly-out (FIFO) rotational schedule, up to 28 days on site
• Camp accommodation and meals provided at Flat Creek camp
• Transportation to and from site arranged from Whitehorse

What You’ll Need

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks

• Able to pass a drug/alcohol screen and fit-for-duty test
• First Aid, WHMIS and H2S Alive are assets
