Job summary

Brucejack Mine in northern British Columbia is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support winter operations at Brucejack Camp. You will operate a range of heavy equipment to maintain roads and site infrastructure while adhering to strict safety standards in a remote camp.

The role is temporary and requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, a valid driver's license (Class 5; Class 1 preferred), and ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Experience with mining, construction, or industrial environments preferred.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license; Class 1 prioritized.
• WHMIS and TDG certifications are assets.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a remote camp.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid-steer dozers, loaders, graders, rock trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment for snow removal and site support.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance.
• Load, unload, transport materials safely using equipment.
• Follow Job Hazard Analyses and site safety procedures.
• Work safely in a remote camp environment on 12-hour rotations.
