The Big Task

The Drain Technician/Sales is a commission-based position that is responsible for generating new business through the identification and acquisition of new customers, lead generation activities and industry networking out on the field. The primary objective of this position is to meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales objectives with respect to new maintenance contract sales in an assigned geographic territory.

What You’ll Do
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective sales techniques
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conducting market research and analyzing sales data to identify new sales opportunities
  • Preparing and delivering sales pitches to potential clients
  • Generating leads
  • Providing regular reports on sales activity and performance
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring health and safety policies and company policies are adhered to
  • Performing all job functions in a safe and healthy manner, abiding by all health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Adhering to all federal, provincial, municipal and city plumbing codes
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Successful experience in plumbing service work
  • A valid G Driver’s License with a clean record
  • Demonstrated sales and cold-calling experience, within the industry
  • Consistently meeting deadlines within a fast-paced work environment and works effectively within time constraints

  • Strong ability to work independently to efficiently manage the assigned territory and accounts
