Job summary

Raise is seeking an Assembly Line Technician in Calgary, AB to precisely assemble downhole tool components per engineering drawings and BOMs, ensuring strict quality and traceability throughout production.

You will work with Shipping/Receiving, Materials, and Quality teams, documenting progress in ERP and maintaining end-to-end traceability. Training is provided in Leduc before starting in Calgary, with possible weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (oil & gas or downhole tools preferred).
• Experience with serialized components and traceability is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
• Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Familiarity with torque specifications and controlled assembly processes.
• Experience with ERP or manufacturing tracking systems (material transactions, work orders).
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and traceability.
• Ability to follow structured processes and documentation requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills across operations and supply chain functions.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., as required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble downhole tool components per drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Interpret torque specs and assembly procedures with accuracy.
• Use calibrated tools and specialized assembly equipment.
• Ensure correct part orientation, fit, and function through all assembly stages.
• Maintain full traceability of materials and recording progress in ERP.
• Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving to resolve material discrepancies.
• Inspect components for quality and report non-conformances.
• Support inventory and cycle count activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, audit-ready workspace and adhere to PPE.
