Qualifications

  • Estimating and/or inside sales experience is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Industrial or technical experience is an asset.

TheDoor Estimator / Project Manager will ensure our Southwestern Ontario customers are supported and our goal of continued growth in the area is achieved.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Utilizing Zoom Info, public tender sites, and other digital tools, seek out new business, making contact via email and phone with prospective customers.
  • Estimate new overhead door and automatic door related products.
  • Perform follow-ups as required.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites to discuss new opportunities.
  • Capture account activity and opportunities in the estimating and service software.
  • Deliver and present proposals for new business opportunities.
  • Learn and maintain product and industry related knowledge.
  • Develop and nurture strong working relationships with the Ventri team and our suppliers.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Must be a motivated self-starter; able to work with limited supervision
  • A strong base technical knowledge in a related area
  • Estimating and / or inside sales experience
  • an asset
  • Strong desire for personal improvement and growth
  • Strong interpersonal skills; deals with conflict effectively
  • Valid drivers license Strong computer skills, Proficient with Microsoft word and excel
  • Industrial experience or technical experience
  • an asset
  • Experience in any of the following
