Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers safely.
• Sort, stage and organize shipments in the dock area.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Verify shipment accuracy and report damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and policies.
• Attend in-house training (e.g., WHMIS, dangerous goods).
• Work with team to meet deadlines.

Dartmouth, NS

Schedule

Part-time, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe and efficient manner
• Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area
• Use of scanners and paperwork
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Verify shipment accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies
• Maintain clean and organized work environment
• Attend in-house training sessions as required (e.g. dangerous goods, WHMIS, etc.)
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines
