Armour Transportation Systems is seeking a reliable Dock Worker in Corner Brook, NL, to support efficient movement of freight and on-time deliveries within our terminal.

You will handle loading/unloading, operate forklifts, use scanners, and follow safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role offers year-round work and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is an asset but not required.
• Willingness to work, dependable with a good attitude.
• Reliable transportation to commute to site.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe, efficient manner.
• Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area.
• Use scanners and complete paperwork accurately.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Verify shipment accuracy and report damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Attend in-house safety training sessions (e.g., WHMIS, DG).
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to meet deadlines.

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Dock Worker to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the efficient movement of freight within our terminal, supporting on-time deliveries and overall operational success.

Location:

Corner Brook, NL

Type:

Permanent, full time

Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 8AM to 5PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe and efficient manner
• Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area
• Use of scanners and paperwork
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
• Verify shipment accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies
• Maintain clean and organized work environment
• Attend in-house training sessions as required (e.g. dangerous goods, WHMIS, etc.)
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines

What you bring:
