Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Corner Brook, NL, is seeking a reliable Dock Worker to help move freight safely and efficiently at our terminal. The role supports on-time deliveries and daily operations, with a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule.

You will load/unload freight, operate scanners, forklifts and pallet jacks, and participate in safety training. A forklift certification is a plus and dependability is essential.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work, dependability & a good attitude.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Ability to lift and perform heavy lifting regularly.
• Willingness to work in warehouse conditions with potential high noise and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers safely and efficiently.
• Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area.
• Use of scanners and paperwork.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Verify shipment accuracy and report any damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment.
• Attend in-house training sessions (e.g. dangerous goods, WHMIS).
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines.
