Job summary

EllisDon Corporation in Oxford is seeking a Divisional Controller for Oxford Builders Supplies. You will lead the accounting departments, prepare financial statements, ensure GAAP/ASPE compliance, manage month-end close, budgeting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience.
• CPA designation is required.
• Strong accounting background with ASPE and/or IFRS knowledge.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting departments (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sales Tax, and Accounting).
• Prepare Oxford Builders’ financial statements and consolidated reporting for Head Office.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (ASPE), corporate policies, and external audit requirements.
• Oversee month end and year end close processes.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and provide variance analysis.
• Develop and monitor internal controls and manage external audits.
• Collaborate with operations to integrate technology and reporting tools across departments.
