Our sales team has been keeping our customers’ operations running efficiently for 72 years, impacting industries from fire departments to cancer research centers. Purpose

Within the assigned district: grow the business profitably by expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers; contribute to Lawson's management strength through effective business and territory management.

Responsibilities
Manage the business
  • Support corporate initiatives
  • Drive industry vertical segmentation focus
  • Implement corporate strategies
Develop the district
  • Collaborate on account sales plans and new business development
  • Bridge corporate goals and team perceptions
  • Educate and coach representatives
Manage the territory
  • Build Lawson’s presence in the district
  • Manage prospective customer sales
  • Conduct field visits
  • Sell to strategic accounts
  • Create sales plans and set goals
  • Forecast performance
  • Build relationships with key customers and prospects
Time Allocation
  • 25%: Developing new reps
  • 10%: Administration and planning
  • 10%: Sales activities and problem-solving
  • 5%: Conducting meetings and seminars

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and 3-5 years of sales management experience. Candidates should have knowledge of products, pricing, market competitors, and proven ability to run a profitable district. Strong analytical, motivational, coaching, communication skills, and computer proficiency are required. Strong ethics are essential.
