Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is offering the District Manager in Training program for Western Canada (AB, SK, MB, BC). The role provides a rotational learning path across Store Operations, Financial planning, Leadership Development Training, Merchandising and Supply Chain, tailored to your skills and pace of development.

We seek candidates with 3-5 years of coaching/management in retail, strong knowledge of store systems such as SAP, STAS, SWEDA MART, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience coaching, developing, and managing in a retail environment.
• Excellent knowledge of store systems and MS Office Suite.
• Comfortable working in a union/nonunion environment and traveling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with Owners and Store Support teams.
• Assist District Managers with control standards such as Health and Safety, inventory, and food safety.
• Support merchandising and operational standards across stores and ensure on-time setup within budget.
• Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, and retention initiatives.
