Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Western Canada invites a motivated District Manager in Training to develop leadership across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and British Columbia. This rotational program adapts to your strengths and provides exposure to Store Operations, Financial planning, Merchandising and Supply Chain.

You will work with Owners and Store Support teams, monitor labor targets, assist with health and safety, and help implement operating standards while building a regional leadership

Qualifications

• Experience in retail operations and leadership roles.
• Ability to coach, develop and manage in a retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with store reports (P&L, COS, Labour, Shrink).
• Willingness to travel across Western Canada (AB, SK, MB, BC).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with Owners and Store Support teams to improve store performance.
• Support District Managers with health and safety, inventory, recalls, and food safety.
• Assist with merchandising and operating standards across stores.
• Help achieve labor targets and implement loss prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to store operating plans and regional strategy input.
