Job summary

Karis Disability Services in Sudbury District is seeking a permanent Area Manager for the North District. This full-time leadership role requires directing service delivery, supervising staff, coaching, and implementing the ministry's strategic plan across the district.

You will collaborate with the Finance Department on budgets, engage with community partners, and participate in hiring processes while promoting the organization's Christian faith and values in everyday operations.

Qualifications

• College Degree in General Arts, Social Work, or Business Administration required.
• Experience in management or program leadership within relevant sectors preferred.
• Union experience and collective agreements familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance development in direct service operations.
• Ensure excellence in service delivery, employee relations, and MCCSS initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance to oversee district finances and participate in hiring decisions.
• Promote Christian ethos and values in organization and community engagement.
