Bee-Clean Building Maintenance in Sudbury, Ontario is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations across multiple client sites, ensure contractual obligations are met, and uphold Bee-Clean’s standards for quality, safety, and service.

You will lead janitorial staff, coordinate scheduling and payroll, manage client relationships, conduct safety trainings, and collaborate with the regional office to address issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities are required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management.
• Experience supervising staff across multiple sites is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and payroll/timekeeping systems is helpful.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel in Sudbury region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic quality assurance inspections to ensure contract compliance.
• Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff across client locations.
• Assign cleaning duties according to contract scope-of-work.
• Recommend staffing actions to maintain appropriate levels.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and train employees.
• Collaborate with staff to resolve operational issues.
• Review and approve employee shifts in payroll system.
• Order supplies and manage budgets for maintenance.
• Coordinate billing for services with Operations and AR.
• Lead monthly health and safety trainings and meetings.
• Investigate incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain positive client relationships and act as liaison to regional office.
• Receive and coordinate work orders for timely completion.
