Job summary

Kumar Logistics Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher Supervisor in Sudbury, Ontario to oversee dispatch operations and organize daily logistics. The role is on-site with a typical 30–35 hour workweek, reporting to the operations team and improving efficiency across shipments and schedules.

Ideal candidates have a college diploma (1–2 years), 1–2 years of related experience, and strong skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Windows. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1–2 years).
  • 1–2 years of related experience in logistics/dispatch.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Windows.

  • Develop specific plans to prioritize dispatch tasks.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
  • Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics for the organization.
  • Coordinate activities with other units or departments.
  • Prepare and submit reports on operations.
  • Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
  • Resolve work problems and propose productivity improvements.
  • Train workers in duties and policies.
  • Coordinate, assign and review dispatch work.
