T-Lane Transportation, based in Edmonton, AB, is seeking a dispatcher with ocean container experience to join our growing team. You will manage orders, dispatch drivers, and coordinate preplans in a fast-paced environment.

We value integrity, teamwork, and strong communication. Responsibilities include entering orders into TMW, building manifests, tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining customer relationships.

• 3+ years experience as a Dispatcher in transportation.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

As the dispatcher, you are responsible from the beginning of the process to the end. Entering the orders into TMW and building a manifest, dispatching the driver, following up until the POD is in the system and the order is ready for billing. To do this you are in constant communication with drivers as well as our customers. You will be responsible for dispatching deliveries, preplanning freight for return trips.

Qualifications:

As the successful candidate, you will be self-motivated, results driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as aDispatcherin the transportation field with 3 years minimum experience required
• Experience in scheduling trucks for live orders and projects
• Experience and knowledge of Canadianshipping regulations and practices.
• Ocean Container dispatch experienceis required for this role
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self-motivated, results driven and a team player.
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• An expert at multi-tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
• High level of detail in performing tasks.
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions.
• Experienced with TMWand Microsoft Office is required
