Ziggy's Pub & Grill is seeking a Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support the kitchen team with dishwashing, basic prep, and kitchen organization. You will help maintain cleanliness and assist during busy periods while following food safety procedures and health regulations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Pay range is displayed and work is performed in person.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in restaurant or food service preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, food handling, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills.
• Knowledge of hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision.

• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
• Maintain a clean work environment by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas.
• Assist with basic cooking tasks when needed, supporting the culinary team during busy periods.
