Job summary

A hospitality group in Dover, Newfoundland and Labrador, is looking for a motivated Dishwasher to maintain a clean kitchen and support an exceptional dining experience at the pub. Responsibilities include washing dishes, removing trash, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting line cooks. The ideal candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks efficiently. The pay ranges between $15.00 and $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, and trays and polish silverware.
• Segregate and remove trash in designated containers.
• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables and surfaces.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Maintain temperature logs in coolers/freezers.
• Assist line cooks with proper food prep and storage.
• Break down cardboard boxes and maintain dumpster area.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Dishwasher to join our team at McGlynns Pub. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen and contribute to an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, and trays and polish silverware
• Segregate and remove trash and place it in the designated containers
• Sweep and mop floors, wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
• Maintain temperature logs; keep walk‑in cooler/freezer organized
• Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food
• Break down cardboard boxes and maintain clean dumpster area

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred, not required
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

Compensation

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
