Oak View Group’s Tribute Communities Centre in Durham Region Oshawa is seeking a Dishwasher to wash and sanitize tableware, serving materials and cooking equipment in a fast-paced events setting.

The position offers an hourly wage of CAD 17.60–17.90 with union benefits, and requires availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. The role remains open through October 23, 2026, at the Tribute Communities Centre.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.

Position Summary

The Dishwasher washes and sanitizes all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment and small wares. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

The role pays an hourly rate of $17.60-$17.90 CAD (per CBA).

Benefits As Per The Union Agreement.

This position will remain open until October 23, 2026.

About The Venue

The Tribute Communities Centre is Durham Region’s premier sports and live entertainment facility and is managed by Oak View Group. The Tribute Communities Centre is home to the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League and hosts a myriad of events, including concerts, circuses, ice skating, and family shows.

Responsibilities

• Ensures highest sanitation levels for all items previously used so that they may be used again in clean condition, free of any contamination risk.
• Utilizes and implements M.S.D.S. criteria, food and product safety, and Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures.
• Removes all trash and maintains loading and receiving areas in safe and clean condition.
• Stocks plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans after cleaning.
• Cleans and sanitizes all food service areas and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere is helpful.
• High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts (including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
