Job summary

Concorde Entertainment Group's Hunter Canmore is hiring a Dishwasher for a full-time permanent role. You will maintain a clean, sanitary stock of dishes and cooking equipment and support kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong organizational and English communication skills, ability to stand for long shifts, and adherence to food safety standards. Training on WHMIS and Food Safe certifications is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Strong English communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with team members, partners, and customers.
• WHMIS Certification is required but can be obtained once hired.
• Food Safe Certification is required but can be obtained within 30 days of being hired.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, control, and composure in difficult and stressful situations.
• Ability to work in a standing position for the duration of the shift (up to 12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Ensure a clean and sanitary stock of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots/pans, and cooking equipment is consistently available for kitchen and food service.
• Sort, stack, and load dirty dishware into dish racks in an organized manner to maximize machine capacity and reduce breakage.
• Operate dishwashing equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
• Unload dishware, distributing and storing in designated storage areas.
• Maintain ongoing communication with all departments affecting the kitchen.
• Ensure the highest level of hygiene and food safety is adhered to according to the restaurant’s standards.
• Ensure that the dishwashing area and equipment is always maintained at the highest level of cleanliness.
• Consistently conduct yourself in a professional and positive manner.
• Aid in maintaining department objectives and ensure they are met and exceeded.
• Perform other related ad-hoc duties as required.

Hunter Canmore is looking for a Dishwasher to fill out their team on a full-time permanent basis. It is essential that you enjoy a fast-paced work environment and feel comfortable working both alone, and/or within a team.
