PARC Retirement Living in North Vancouver seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to join Cedar Springs PARC. The role offers permanent full-time hours (30-40 hrs) with benefits and a Saturday-Wednesday schedule, paying an hourly rate of $25.85-$26.34.

You'll support our dining team by cleaning cookware, maintaining sanitation, and contributing to a high-quality dining experience for residents, while adhering to WHMIS and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent.
• Experience with commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Knowledge of food service practices.
• FoodSafe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications.
• Able to lift up to 10 kilograms and work safely around chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an incredible dining experience for residents and guests.
• Clean and sanitize cookware, dishware, and cutlery safely and efficiently.
• Clean the kitchen, equipment, countertops, and beverage centre.
• Maintain safe dishwasher temperatures and store chemicals per WHMIS/public health rules.
• Work ergonomically, with proper lifting, bending, and reaching techniques.
• Assist with stock control, food prep, and serving meals as needed.

As a PARC Dishwasher, you’re responsible for:

• Helping to deliver an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.
• Cleaning and sanitizing all cookware, dishware, and cutlery safely and efficiently – while minimizing breakage.
• Helping clean the kitchen, including equipment, countertops, and the beverage centre.
• Maintaining safe dishwasher temperatures and ensuring cleaning chemicals are stored and used according to WHMIS and other public health regulations.
• Working in an ergonomically safe manner, practicing proper lifting, bending, and reaching techniques to avoid injury.
• Assisting with stock control, food prep, and serving meals as needed.
