Job summary

PARC Retirement Living is seeking a Cook for Cristalina PARC in Kelowna. This casual/on-call role offers hourly pay in a fast-paced, restaurant-style kitchen supporting seniors in a vibrant community by the lake.

You will prepare and serve meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help with deliveries while ensuring proper temperatures and portions for residents. Training and certifications like Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS are required.

• Culinary diploma or equivalent; strong cooking and plating skills.
• Food Safe Level 1 and WHMIS certifications required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with seniors.

As a PARC Cook, you’re a member of our Food and Beverage team, responsible for:

• Creating an incredible dining experience for our residents and guests.
• Preparing and serving meals in a restaurant setting – and bistro-style – with flourish, according proper food-handling procedures.
• Maintaining a clean kitchen and work space.
• Assisting with receiving and storing food deliveries.
• Preparing and serving residents at proper temperatures and in appropriate portions.
