Job summary

Whistler Blackcomb in Whistler, BC is seeking a dishwasher for a year-round (10-month) position with full-time hours. The starting wage ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with housing availability and a host of ski-and-employee perks.

You will support the kitchen team, manage dishware, maintain sanitation, and follow safety protocols in a fast-paced resort environment. Opportunity for growth and a strong team culture with health and wellness benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry objects up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Depending on the location upload the Mountain via Gondola with your team.
• Follow leadership guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting.
• Collect all dishes, cutlery and cups.
• Ensure all dishware is properly sanitized before further use.
• Clean kitchen tools and appliances properly before use.
• Follow all of our safety protocols.
• Support the back of house team with cleaning the back of house work stations and other prep cook tasks as required.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional + location dependent).
