Job summary

Gladstone House in Toronto is seeking a Dishwasher (Permanent Part-Time) to support our culinary team under the Executive Chef. You will help keep the kitchen clean, set up dish stations, load and unload machines, and ensure pans and utensils are sanitized.

This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays; physical ability to stand, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 35 pounds. We offer a casual, fast-paced environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Job description

Position: Dishwasher (Permanent Part-Time)

The Role at a Glance

We are looking for a dishwasher who provides support to our culinary team throughout our extensive food and beverage operations. Under the direction of our Executive Chef we will support you and give you the opportunity to work with a great team.

Your Day To Day Duties

• You will ensure that the kitchen stays clean and organized.
• You will set up dish stations and turn on dish cleaning machines. You will load and unload dishes from the dish machines, wash all pans and utensils that come into contact with food, and scraping identifiers off everything.
• Once dishes are cleaned you will put them on the drying rack and put away dry dishes into cabinets and on shelves.
• Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Special Requirements and Certifications

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job as the role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs and carrying 35 pounds.
