Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality is hiring a dishwasher for SixtyEight in downtown Toronto. The role involves keeping dishes, glassware and utensils clean and organized under the Back of House Management Team.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashers, washing and polishing wares, stocking supplies, and maintaining clean dish areas. Applicant should be able to work calmly in a fast-paced setting and be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dishwasher role or similar is an asset.
• Ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task and stay organized in a busy kitchen.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

• Operate dishwashers efficiently.
• Wash glassware and flatware.
• Polish all glassware and flatware.
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and racks.
• Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products.
• Safely handle and store cleaning products.
• Sweep, mop and maintain the dish area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Back of House Management Team, our dishwashers clean and put away all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and dish machines.

The day to day:

• Operate dishwashers efficiently.
• Wash glassware and flatware.
• Polish all glassware and flatware.
• Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts and dish racks.
• Assist in receiving and stocking supplies/products.
• Safely handle and store cleaning products.
• General dish area maintenance including: sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal.
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment an asset.
• Ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated
• Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task.
• Able to spend 100% of the time standing
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
