Job summary

The Postmark Hotel is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher (Permanent Part-Time) to support our culinary team under the direction of our Executive Chef. You will help keep the kitchen clean, set up dish stations and operate dishwashing machines during busy service periods.

Flexibility is essential as shifts include evenings, weekends and holidays. The role offers a friendly team, competitive pay and opportunities to grow within our expanding properties.

Job description

Position: Dishwasher (Permanent Part-Time)

We are looking for a dishwasher who provides support to our culinary team throughout our extensive food and beverage operations. Under the direction of our Executive Chef we will support you and give you the opportunity to work with a great team.

Your Day To Day Duties:

• You will ensure that the kitchen stays clean and organized.
• You will set up dish stations and turn on dish cleaning machines. You will load and unload dishes from the dish machines, wash all pans and utensils that come into contact with food, and scraping identifiers off everything.
• Once dishes are cleaned you will put them on the drying rack and put away dry dishes into cabinets and on shelves.
• Comply with all Archive standards, policies and procedures at all times.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

You have:

• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

Special Requirements and Certifications:

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job as the role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs and carrying 35 pounds.
