Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage sick leaves, including STD/LTD applications, HOOPP accruals, and disability processes. You will provide timely documentation and reporting while collaborating with HSW Ability & Attendance, HR Shared Services, and other stakeholders.

The role requires 1-3 years HR experience, understanding of Employment Standards Act and unionized multi-site environment, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and HRIS.

Qualifications

• Disability management or HR management education required
• 1-3 years of HR experience
• Experience in a large unionized multi-site environment
• Strong understanding of Employment Standards Act and union collective agreement interpretation
• Excellent written and verbal communication in customer service
• Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS
• Strong critical thinking, problem analysis and solution development
• Ability to handle stressful issues and communicate professionally
• Ability to work with tact, diplomacy and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Process sick leaves including STD/LTD claims and HOOPP accruals
